Home Schooled Students - College Preparation Program

Students at Covington Schools will be administering assessments through the College Preparation Program.  Students in the 10^th grade will be taking the PLAN test and students in the 8^th grade will be taking the EXPLORE test in October.  Texas Education Code (TEC) 29.916 requires districts to permit home-schooled students to participate in the administration of certain assessments.  The tests listed above fall under this requirement.  In order for home-schooled students to test, each must register with Covington School on or before September 11th.  Please come to the school office to register.
