Covington ISD Annual Food Drive

Yes, it's that time again! Our annual food drive will begin next Monday, October 28th and  will end on  November 21st. For those new to Covington, each class competes with each other. Student Council will count the number of cans of food and other food items that each class collects to determine a winning class in elementary and in secondary. The winning  elementary and secondary class will win a pizza lunch.

Drop off is from 8am-3pm at the elementary and secondary offices or you may send the items to school with your child.

The food pantry has plenty of canned green beans and corn.  Items needed include the following:
Bowls of microwave Mac & Cheese
Canned Meats - Tuna, Chicken, Ham, Spam
Chili
Ramen Noodles
Vienna Sausages
Canned Ravioli

Please encourage your students to participate. This is one of the largest community service projects the school participates in each year. The donations will be given to the community food pantry at the Covington Church of Christ.
