Covington Elementary School to Host Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Enrollment

Covington Elementary School will be enrolling new to the district Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students for the 2025-2026 school year on: Friday, May 2, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. 

This enrollment is only for new students. If your child is already attending Pre-Kindergarten, there is no need to enroll for Kindergarten. To be eligible for Pre-Kindergarten, a child must be at least four years old on or before September 1, 2025. To be eligible for the Kindergarten program, a child must be five years old on or before September 1, 2025.

When enrolling, both PK & K, students must have:

1. Proof of residency (driver’s license or utility bill)

2. A certified copy of your child’s Birth Certificate (These can be ordered online @ Request a birth certificate for $22)

3. Up-to-date immunization record

4. Social Security Card

5. Enrolling parent's/guardian's ID

If any parents or guardians are unable to attend this registration, they are requested to contact the school at (254) 854-2215 ext. 1011 so that necessary information concerning students may be provided to them.
