Dual Credit Enrollment

  1. Dual Credit courses are for students in high school who demonstrate college readiness by achieving the minimum passing standards under the provisions of the state of Texas. TSIA2 Passing Standards: Math – 950+, Reading  – 945+, Writing – 5+ on composition. (Reading scores of 910-944 MUST have a diagnostic score of 5 AND an essay score of 5. Math scores of 910-949 MUST have a diagnostic level 6). 
  2. Complete Covington High School Dual Credit Enrollment Request.
  3. Apply online Select dual credit as the application type. This site will also be used to apply for any other college in Texas.)
  4. Complete Dual Credit Permission Form online https://liveforms.hillcollege.edu:8443/liveforms/web/flow/view?id=4199 
  5. Once accepted, you will get an email with your new Hill College student ID, which will allow you to create an account for MyHC. Your username is (first name.last name). 
  6. Schedule an appointment with the Student Services Coordinator to find out which courses are available for registration.
